Introduction to 3D printing

Learn how to make 3D drawings on a computer and bring them to life using a 3D printer. No artistic talent required! All you need to do is make a sketch using Tinkercad software, which we’ll show you how to use. Learn how to create drawings that can be printed using plastic. We’ll guide you through the creation process, and send you your first creation by mail. Materials and postage fees included!

This is a synchronous activity.
You will need a screen in the classroom where you can project the activity. You will also need a camera, such as the one on a laptop, so that our guides can interact with your students. This activity requires a minimum of one computer per two students.
Preparation required before the presentation:
• Test the technology (we’ll take just a few minutes to test the sound quality and connection)
• Test the Tinkercad site on every computer
