Temporary closure

The Museum is temporarily closing its doors to the public in accordance with the latest public health restrictions issued by the Government of Québec, as the Estrie region has become a red zone.

COVID-19 hours

Open Thursday to Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer hours

May 1 to Labour Day

Open daily: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regular hours

September 8, 2020 to April 30, 2021

Open Tuesday to Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, St. Jean Baptiste Day, Canada Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving.

December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.

COVID-19 : Some facilities are temporarily unavailable


An unattended cloakroom is available for visitors. Lockers are also available for storing personal items while visiting, for $0.25. Ask at the reception desk.

Lunch area

An area with tables where you can enjoy your lunch is available in the Museum’s solarium. When the weather is nice, you can also picnic in the Museum park or under our pergola. There are two vending machines with goodies and beverages, and a microwave is available for visitors.

Self-serve bicycles

When the weather is nice, you can borrow one of our self-serve bicycles. All you have to do is leave one piece of ID at the Museum reception desk.

Free Wi-Fi

Take advantage of free Wi-Fi at the Museum.


Families welcome!

A changing table is available in the all-gender washroom and strollers are welcome.

Accessible and adapted

Certified by Keroul as “partially accessible” for people with restricted mobility and “adapted” for people with a hearing impairment. See technical specifications for more information. The Museum also grants free admission to support persons who meet the eligibility criteria1, and wheelchairs are available for loan free of charge.
