The Museum conserves and preserves objects related to its mission, i.e. to keep the legacy of Joseph Armand Bombardier alive as a source of inspiration for future generations. Its team of experts manages a collection of over 3 500 objects and more than 3 709 boxes containing various archival records.
Celebrating the Power of Rotax

Celebrating the Power of Rotax® pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of Austrian engine builder Rotax®. The exhibition showcases the motors that have powered Bombardier-BRP recreational products for close to 60 years, propelling them over land, water and snow to the hum of the reputed 2- and 4-stroke engines. Rotax® engines are crafted with our traditional ingenuity, and have proven their worth on the snowmobile racing circuits. High-performance models designed specifically for racing have taken drivers across the finish line to win countless races!

50 years at the Museum

The Museum is celebrating its 50th anniversary with Joseph‑Armand Bombardier, the inventor: 50 years of passion. The exhibit spotlights 3 milestones: 1971, the decision to keep the inventor and his memories alive; 1990, the launch of an international component; and 2016, a complete DNA makeover. Photographs, promotional items, newspaper articles and pamphlets showcase the team’s passion for putting together exhibitions and major events! The renowned B12 CS snowmobile (1950) from the Museum collection greets visitors in the lobby.
50 years of design at BRP

In 2019, BRP celebrated its design department’s 50th anniversary. Its five decades saw the creation of a collective legacy of vehicles built for use on snow, water and on and off the roads. Discover the ingenuity of a company known around the world for its industrial design through original concept pieces, mockups and newspaper articles.

To highlight the 50e anniversary of the first delivery of the Canadair Bombardier water bomber aircraft, archival documents and artifacts that testify to the ingenuity and longevity of the CL-215 and the CL-415 are on view in the Museum’s public spaces.
