Prototype vehicle

1922

Accurate replica of the very first vehicle built to drive over snow, produced by Joseph-Armand Bombardier at the age of 15. It was built for the Museum based on specifications provided by Léopold and Alphonse-Raymond Bombardier. The vehicle was powered by a propeller connected to the 4-cylinder Ford engine and steered by front runners mounted on a pivot.
