Race to the North Pole board game
Promotional item
1969
The Race to the North Pole board game combines two unusual themes: snowmobile safety and the 1968 Plaisted Polar Expedition. The game, designed for 2 to 6 players, was released in 1969 by Snowdon Productions Inc. of Montreal. The coloured squares on the board represent the trek to the North Pole. The goal was to get to the “North Pole” located at the centre of the board, by drawing cards from a deck that provided tips on safe snowmobiling practices.
