The Bombardier B.B. Carrier is a tracked amphibious vehicle that could reach a top speed of 40 km/h on land. For water travel, it was recommended to fit it with an outboard engine offering a maximum of 5 horsepower. This vehicle was designed with a welded steel chassis for complete watertightness, allowing drivers to cross rivers and marshes. However, they were advised to avoid large lakes for safety reasons. When fully loaded at 454 kg (1,000 lb), the vehicle had a waterline height of merely 17 cm.
Only 32 units were produced from 1959 to 1961, making them a rare and precious commodity. The Bombardier B.B. Carrier is a legacy from another time and continues to fascinate unusual vehicle enthusiasts.
