Bombardier Bantam Trail motorcycle
Motorcycle
1971
This vehicle dates to when Bombardier Inc. signed an agreement with Italian company Agrati-Garelli for the distribution of small motorcycles on the North American market. The Bantam Trail motorcycle was introduced in 1971, along with two other models—the Junior Cross and Bantam Cross. This motorcycle is 1.4 metres long and weighs 58 kg (approximately 130 pounds). It was designed for driving off the road and can reach 60 km/h. The Bantam Trail sold for $370, equivalent to $3,000 today. Licensing problems forced Bombardier to withdraw its motorcycles in the same year.
