This sash, also known as a ceinture fléchée, is woven from cotton yarn in the Carnaval de Valcourt’s signature colours—primarily yellow with red, black and white accents. The centre features an arrowhead pattern, hence the name “arrowhead sash.”

This sash is part of the official costume proudly worn by the Bonhomme Ski-Doo® mascot during each of his public appearance. It has also been worn by volunteers and duchesses (young women chosen to represent Québec’s districts) throughout the various editions of the Carnaval.
