This model kit is a 1/12 scale replica of the Ski-Doo® Nordic^TM snowmobile first launched in 1969 and includes the Ski-Boose sled. The model comprises 52 parts, 2 decal sheets and assembling instructions. Some of the decals are from snowmobiles used in the 1968 Plaisted Polar Expedition. This toy was manufactured by Michigan-based company Model Products Corporation (MPC) in the 1960s, which were the golden era of scale models. Such models are often used as promotional items, especially in the car dealership industry. MPC was a leading scale model manufacturer up until 1985.
