Designed specifically for aerial firefighting, the Bombardier 415 amphibious aircraft is, to this day, a world reference in the field. Its unique design consists of its ability to scoop large quantities of water from nearby water sources, mix it with fire retardant and do multiple drops before having to return to base to refuel. The water bomber aircraft can scoop more than 6,000 L of water in 12 seconds.
