Moto-Ski® lighter
Promotional item
Circa 1969
This lighter made by Japanese company Brother-Lite is the pinnacle of old-time craftsmanship. It’s automatic, which means that the user can simply press on the top, and the inner mechanism strikes a piece of flint to ignite a flame.
Bearing the Moto-Ski® emblem, this lighter likely dates to the time of Industries Bouchard Ltée, before their acquisition by Bombardier Limitée in 1971. On the front, we can see a snowmobile running at full speed—an accurate representation of the Moto-Ski® brand, whose diamond logo is featured on the back.
