Racing suit that belonged to Jacques Villeneuve, Gilles’ brother. This suit was worn for the 1989-90 season. It includes overalls and a coat made of leather. The suit’s colours, yellow and orange, match the Ski-Doo® Formula 1 snowmobile he was riding. This snowmobile was designed specifically for oval racing; the seat tilted sideways to allow the pilot to lean into the curves. You can see the wear of the suit at the ankles.
