In 1966–1967 Bombardier Limited began making the AT-1 trailer camper, which opened automatically in under 60 seconds with the turn of a lever. The lever mechanism used an exclusive automatic double-acting hydraulic system—a unique invention patented by Victor Plante. The patent was purchased by L’Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée. The trailer camper came in 3 versions, including a fully-equipped luxury model that could accommodate 6 people. This sales brochure features a luxurious camping pavilion that promises “The comfort of home in less than a minute”!
