Seal representing the coat of arms of Alfred Bombardier, Joseph-Armand’s father, depicting a dove carrying an olive branch in its beak, set in a triangle on a French shield and bearing the motto “Bombardier Passe Partout.” Research has revealed that one of Alfred’s ancestors was nicknamed “Passe Partout” during his military service in France. Upon his return to civilian life, the nickname was adopted by his family and descendants. A seal shows the coat of arms, motto or effigy of an entity, it can guarantee the authenticity of a document, seal a letter or mark property.
