SKOOT Prototype

Prototype vehicle

1975

The SKOOT prototype combines components from a snowmobile and a motorcycle. It has height adjustable handlebars and a fork mounted with built-in shock absorbers. The ski is fixed to rods and has 3 steel runner shoes, 1 in the centre and 2 on each side, slightly more elevated. The single-cylinder engine is mounted directly over the track, much like a snowmobile. The rubber sprocket is bolted with a rim on each side, bringing back memories of the first snowmobiles. The SKOOT is equipped with disc brakes.
